chat addon demo ?

Hi i have installed this chat localy and it's working fine but when i have uploaded it and installed it it wont accept messages.

Im getting this error:
Cannot write the database file

Anyone any ideas??

well i have installed this addon on Memht 4.0.1 the worst thing is that when i tests it on my own system (using Apache2triad as a localhost) it worked fine, then i created a databse backup and uploaded the whole portal to a webspace all the links and portal was working so well but only chat link on navigation bar dosent work.. it gives the error "THE REQUESTED PAGE DOES NOT EXIST OR IS INACTIVE" then i logged in to admin panel and deleted the chat link from nagvigation bar and when i added it again it gives only a blank link even no name as well... to check whether there is something wrong i deleted an other link of news and newsletter from navigation bar and added it again that was working fine :-/ what to do ???? is there something to do with CHmod??? i did 755 but then too its not working :-/

same problem with me im using memht 4.0.1 i also have this chat problem when i installed it in the web it says "THE REQUESTED PAGE DOES NOT EXIST OR IS INACTIVE" mem can you help us with this problem?

The addon is not installed, admin > system > addons > add

Well i found out my problem atleast ... well on navigator i was adding as Chat instead of chat ... means i was using capital 'C' because of which page was redirecting to Chat.php instead of chat.php ... but as this chat is on ajax so its quite slow ... isnt any solution of it to make it fast and yeah.. its chat method is from top to bottom redeculus .. :S if u have seen yahoo mirc or msn or any chat software chat method is from bottom to top .. can i change its method instead of top to bottom i want to use it as bottom to top ..

mem isnt there any other chat addon instead of this ajax chat ??? because its too slow .. isnt there any like java script or somewhat like that .. because that probably wold be fast..

but u can suggest any compatible with it .. cuz u knw too this chat addon is so slow or if u can kindly modify it do something of it ..

Guys this is not a chat addon more like a Forum ShoutBox like the ones they have in Vbulletin mods and Invision Power Board mods.

I installed no problems first try, no errors, I got the write error but fixed by a simple chmod. Great easy add-on. 4 stars. (could be a little more advanced). Great however if you just want to text chat with some friends or some customers or whatever.

Please tell me how to change it to utf-8 ? I can't write in my language.
