in version 2.0 i created some pages (in MyPages) then later i upgraded to 2.5. now everytime i go to edit these pages it doesnt save the edit and recently i tried to edit one page and after i clicked save, the page disappeared, yes disappeared. its gone. not there anymore

now what would cause that ?

i cant add a new page neither edit an existing page.

when i click preview it shows the page fine but after i click save nothing happens, it goes back to the same thing.

is it a permission thing?!!

i upgradeed from 2.0 to 2.5 maybe thats why, you thing i should just upload all files?

Preview? There is no a preview function in MyPage

yes there is a preview, is when you click on the prewiew button in the bbcode buttons.

oh, i wasn't talking about that... anyway the preview is not messed up with the page saving, if that does not happend then you should check fields in the database and the file because i've tested everything more than once and it works

i noticed a new thing now.
when i edit an existing page's title ONLY it saves the page with new title called:
Users

thats wierd!!!


BTW: MyPage's tables in database are fine i can edit tile and page contents from phpmyadmin just fine, i can even add new page too, but not from the admin page in mem.

its fixed now, but i dont really understand the fix though. if you can explain it for me if you may.
the veriable before was $title which is true cos in the database it was title, but now the fix changed it to $ptitle and for some reason that fixed it !!!

I have the same exact thing. Worked fine in 2.0 than gone bad in 2.5 Couldn't create new pages, No renaming, no edits, than it creates a page called users by itself. I'm hoping this works for me as well. I can't say for sure at the moment, but I think there may also be a bug when creating a new download, and possibly article/s as I tried to use these for a temporary answer to the mypage bug I met w/some of the same behavior.....
