I fixed the Problems Posted by Suge, Cylon!
This little add on gives you the possibility to set a release, Expiration date and Release and Expiration Time.
That means if you wright a News and want it to appear on the 15/09/08 at 13:20, than just set these settings and surprise the news won't be displayed until the 15/09/08 at exactly 13:20 .
I wanted say thank you to Suge, Cylon and all the other people who tested this add on before and a Special thanks to Chris for your motivation !!
Peace Freakyyy hope you appreciate this add on. Edited: 22/10/2008 09:57 |

Your work is appreciated even if it doesn't make sense rnrnI am still frustrated with memht and it's inability to properly show codes in a block but I will make a weather block using weather.com once I finish some other projects. Temporarily I setup a personal site with this info so it doesn't invade the work site. Until I can make the block to properly show noaa, weather.com weather and warnings.rnrnAgain keep up the good work, also thanks to Mem for making such nice template and nice Anti-IE templates at that |

Is there someone who still uses IE5/IE5.5/IE6? Maybe old and lazy people who doesn't need more. If you know what a CMS is used for and you know how to install MemHT, i don't think you're so insane to use it

I use chrome, firefox the old windows 2000 machine still runs IE6 nothing works on a intel 700mhz pc with 128ram so it sits. It got it's first fixup of 4 new capacitos that leaked thats how old it is heh my telephone company purchase page is IE only and any other browser except chrome the link wont do anything, bad to make sites that are made for one piece of software but hey. Sure it have people who uses them also, so when CMS or template for CMS is coded than this must be compatible with all browsers. Still IE is the most used browser, and to code something what is not compatible with IE is the same like don't coded that at all. I am sure I will never install something what is not compatible with least IE5 and IE6, and I am so sorry that you like "daddy" of this CMS think on that way.
Anywhere what is case on NET with anti IE campagne, what is purpose of all that? To destroy IE browser, so that Firefox and few others new monopolists charge us for browser, so after all they will not be free? Microsoft take huge amount of the money on Windows, so browser "business" is just theirs hobby, so browsers today are free, and that is only what I am concerned. Will they be free "tommorrow" if Microsoft drop IE? I think huge NO.
So did you work for Firefox so you gave them free advertisning? I hope you do, than it will have a sence. If not, than I cannot understand why net users use that trend started from Firefox.
I tested Firefox, and for me it is nothing better or worst than IE7. In general same ****.
So if you don't have tehnicaly problems to made that template IE6 and IE5, I think it will be better idea to made that template compatible with IE5 and IE6.

I'm talking about IE5/IE5.5/IE6 (IE7/IE8 are ok). Those versions have nothing to share with web standards, indeed they need separated style rules, box hacks etc... developing a template compatible with old IE versions needs double more time, people should not be surprised if developers hate IE... time = money
Anyway i'm (proudly) anti-IE Edited: 10/09/2008 16:42 |

I am a Anty IE too!
And first of all because of security, Firefox is mutch more secure, Performant and nicer to use than IE.
I use Firefox since euhmmm I USE INTERNET and for the moment it won't change !
and me as a Wananbe webProgrammer It's nealy a must because you have so much add ons that you can add to your Firefox browser like Firbug, addBlocker, Pop-Up Blocker ect.
that's my opinion
Peace Freakyy That is browsing currently with IE6 (Work laptop) |
