Sounds silly i know, but i have started to use a few custom features on my site, like the highslide image effect and blockquotes to link spoilers... i can and do currently add the code manually, but my question is, would it be hard to add buttons to the admin side of the text editor, or do you recommend leaving it as is, and keep manually adding the code via viewing the source ?
Thanks
p.s can you tell me if the text editor is wysiwyg or fck or other ? i bet i can find it in the readme files avtually |

WYSIWYG is not the name of an editor but the type
WYSIWYG = What You See Is What You Get
All editors that permit to see what are you doing are WYSIWYG like Dreamweaver, Frontpage, FCKeditor, TinyMCE etc
You should check the FCKeditor documentation for buttons

It's a time consuming process but works without issue afterword, just copy over the config from the old to the new and end of issues.
I think mem will yell at me for suggesting this but hey |
