Nobody until now asked for something similar.

Do you have any idea (or screenshot) on how it should be? Features etc.

Someone else asked for a MP3 player and now a Audio library this could be merged into one I was thinking a Youtube type addon people upload there MP3's into the addon, little activex to use the system plugin to play such MP3's with Windows media player or what not. This could break as many windows pups have weird bloated anti virus software that blocks most activex not the easiest addon to make but it can be done

Make a function that uses the filetype to play the file the browser should be smart to use the WMA plugin to play MP3's etc.. or am I speaking gibberish?

second what I mean by audio library is if the admin wants to offer audio files in his site for his users he can offer listen to these files or download them. usually people listen for the audio before download it if they like they will download it
what fields are admin needs in audio library
1-audio category
2- author
3- audio name
4- language
5- description
The audio library must deal and manage all types of audiosuch as WAV, AIFF and AU mp3 etc

The issue is PHP doesn't offer any functions to get the audio data, this would have to be done in javascript/html. This could be done with a flash player but the issue is the MP3 info which is difficult.

I don't know flash so much, i can't do it

euhm yes a flash player supported by a XML file would make all this Possible ! I started by doing a similare add on but gave UP because I thought HOW WOULD use this haha should of continued
