Consulta :
cree un grupo,"colaborador" tipo contribuciones (noticias,arti****s), cantidad 20.
Le asigne un usuario Juan.(activo,permanente)
Luego, en administar páginas asigne a la página noticias el grupo "colaborador"

hasta aquí cre que voy bien...
pero ahora cuando ingreso como el usuario Juan aparece el nombre del grupo al que pertenece , y ahora que tengo que hacer para que pueda colaborar no aparece ningun link el perfil del usuario qeu indique eso.

groups are used in the site front-edit, not in admin. if you add the news to a group, only that group of users will be able to open the page.
