I don't know. I'll check. I usually ban ip's that flood the site, rss, hacks etc.

Unbanned. Maybe your RSS reader or some other plugin has flooded MemHT

Now everything is fine. So if someone request a rss feed to many times in a day he becomes banned ? May be should i change the frequency of my rss software.

Now that i am not anymore bannished, that's my turn to be overflood by memht news and forum topics in my rss client

1000 times an hour ?! it means one connection each 3-4 seconds ?! I have never done that... Maybe my thunderbird ? but it was configured to connect each 10 min (and now each 30 min...)

I hope it will not happen again. That's so strange...

It may be a bad firefox plugin that generate a lot of hits on each visit on rss files (and others), so if you open 10 pages x (example) 20 hits = 200 in 5 minutes.
