i want to change
$siteConfig['modrewrite'] = false
to
$siteConfig['modrewrite'] = true

but i faild when i upload the file..

i try in 2 ways

1. ftp

and one time i try to delete it and change the inc_config.php.off

to

inc_config.php

but it shows me 404 page

any idea how can i do this rewrite?

After you have edited the file, delete the original from the server and upload it again, your host has some problem with the filesize detection as the message sais

at the last step of the install there is improve ip2country and i didnt do it because i think its not useful and take to page more time to reload

No, the 404 error means that your host does not support the modrewrite and cannot decode the rewrited url. You should switch off it

yesterday i try to do the rewrite alon
i put this code-

RewriteRule ^faq(.*)$ index.php?page=faq

and its work

but when i try with the cms .htaccess its show 404

how can it be?

and you can make one .htaccess will work with my host?

the provided .htaccess contains all the rewrite instructions
