Error/Problem: "Attention: Cannot Find Database Tables"

Guys,

I'm new to PHP and I'm setting up my own website for the first time...

I had a couple of problems while installing.

First, I ran /install/install.php and got an error "Undefined variable 'Host' on line 72". I added a declaration for $host="", and that seemed to have worked.


All the other install steps went smoothly (once I realized I needed to include GD Graphics extension in PHP), the database was created, and tables viewable.

Problem #2 is trying to open index.php or admin.php in Firefox 3.0.8 after the install process was complete and I renamed the install folder. Opening either file gives the error 'Attention: Cannot find database tables'. Admin.php line 64 does a check:
if ($dblink->get_num_noerr("SELECT nome FROM memht_config" )==0)

Should there be any data in column 'nome' of memht_config in a new install? If so, where did my install go wrong?

Try to install it in remote, and i'll help you (no support for localhost, i can't be sure your AMP is well installed and configured)
