i think the forum should be on another mysql that links to the table of the potral (useres and password) , its to heavy database right now

How many users do you have?

With almost 8000 entries i have no problems

Anyway i'll keep it in my mind

my host company for example let me use mysql in the size of 50 mb , it runs out quick.

its easier for backup and maintence and for a lot of things....

50mb is a lot of space, i'm using only 4mb with memht.com (and the ip2config database is full: 80000 entries). don't worry about the space probably you'll never have this kind of problems in your life

Anyway separating the forum from the site is useless, at this point use another forum installed in another folder, i love memht because eveything is integrated, separating them has no sense
