I have made some modifications to a the gallery files and added some site specific addons and blocks of my own to ver 4.01 and added more tables to the database.
My question is (and forgive me if it's been asked already)
Will I be able to use my addons and blocks? And what will the new version do with the changes I've made in the gallery files if any? And will it have an effect on the tables?
Keep up the great work fellas.
Thanks |

Even update won't be possible you will have to use a converter script and the template will have to be reedited...

Let's hope he gets after you first start thinking about what to do with the 4.0.1
If we are only thinking about how to migrate the versions, we will end up creating is bad expectations with respect to the new engine, which will come with many new features and many new security rules, even for virtual stores, which is missing in 4.0.1!
Only migrate from 4.0.1 to 5, is in some way, as bringing together what was wrong or incomplete. It is much more acceptable to manually migrate a site to convert it, try thinking of memHT 5 as a change of server for security reasons!
