Upload file for power users | #post21758 | I am looking for a small mod that will give power users access to get this upload form in the submission>download that you have in the admin panel.
I've tried to set up it myself but I didn't go right.

Re: Upload file for power users | #post21786 | After looking over the submissions page coding, Id probably leave that part up to Mem if he decides he wants to include that option for uploads since it may be quite a task for some!
Another idea you can do as I have on my own website which uses MemHT 4.0.1 is create a custom page and use a Javascript and form based on the functions of the MemHT downloads system!
You dont need to use any htaccess just specify the file types you want to allow within the Javascript code itself! You can also set the permissions for the submission form page normally through MemHT Admin Addons and/or the Navigator!
What it basically does is allow the user to upload the file along with the necessary info which can be emailed to an email addy you specify and you can also set the file upload size restrictions through your servers php.ini settings!
I can explain the steps in doing this idea but Id need permission from staff here to do so although alternatively you can read up on Javascript tutorials which can be found on the net and that will give you the idea as well!!!  |
