MemHT 5 will be released with few installed plugins. Users will need to download and install other plugins if needed.

It would be very nice if you could make the yoomla or some else portals that have lots of templates work on this version portal, that will push memht 5 to the new limits of use

...or maybe some converter or plugin if not in pure install version

If you ask me, this is major problem in all versions of memht- too small choice of templates(even if you take them all and remake them for thousand times, even than is too small amount)

if you will able to do it like pure install, or plugin, converter, it will be a huge step forward and solve the problem of templates ones for all...

thanks in advance for reply

A converter that make joomla or any portals plugins compatible with any other script automatically is impossible to create. This because the structure of plugins aren't always identical, they change, making the creationg of a "universal" converter, even for one specific cms like joomla just impossible.

Anyway, even if there was a possibility, what's the point? Using the MemHT core with Joomla addons? :

go look in any of the CMS is there to convert them ... If you encounter, BRING THEM HERE TO SEE U.S. ...
CMS has no converter functions of others ... is what characterizes a CMS, ORIGINALITY! Quit copying what other CMS create, we would not have a memht, we would have a universal emulator ... can create what others have, FOR MemHT, ORIGINALLY OF MemHT! Just be patient!

I'm just wondering if we can get an update on what's happening with Memht 5. The twitter haven't been updated since December 1st.

Would be nice to know what is left to be done etc. Thanks.

And one more thing. Will there be an update option fra Memht 4?

Yes there will be an updater from MemHT 4.

I have worked a bit on MemHT 5 since 1st Dec but haven't updated twitter because i have no time. Anyway i should have finished my thesis and probably i'll be almost completely free in 2 weeks again so i'll back to work... so i can finish the release.

Very good.Just don't like not knowing what is going on with projects like this. In most cases not a good sign Smile

Good luck on your thesis. Didn't know you were working on one.

Just one feature request. When a user log on, could you make it go to the last page visited? Instead of going to the user page?

But what you suggest is what I think a must in any good portal, cms or forum.
