Hi guys, may be this is not the right place to post this. sorry if so.
Im using MemHT portal to support my webpage alpedrete.info, and the thing is that I would like to allow articles/news to include youtube videos, not only external links but the whole video watchable from the actual article/post.
Unfortunatelly I downloaded the youtube addon but is not what I need. is there any chance of doing this?

Put the html embed code in the articles content, by pressing "html code" button in the editor

Could you provide an example of how to add this code. I know it sound kind of silly, but I tried using the html code and then including the lines you can see on youtube page the url, or the <object> but it did,t work.

By the way, on this textbox I'm using to type right know there is a youtube button. is there a newer version that the one I have? 4.0.1 where can I download it?

The YT button works fine, just add the embed url (no browser url) and you'll see the video.

About the code, the standard object code should work fine.

The way of adding youtue videos to you regular news or articles is as simple as:
1º Show the html code using the button in the editor toolbar.
2º copy at the end the <OBJECT> section from youtube page, with the video you whant to share.
3º continue writing if you whant. and publish the article. you will show the vidio when it's published.
