After accessing the administrator pages, every subsequent logon from that computer causes the the admin main to be displayed instead of the user screen. If I log on with an invalid user, the admin pages logon screen appears. To fix the problem, I have to clear the IE cache (Tools -> Internet Options ->delete) and then only is the correct user page shown after log on or in the case of an invalid user, the normal user log on screen is displayed again.
Same problem from other computers as well.
I am using IE 8.

The login system track and redirect you on the page you tried to open without being logged in. If you try to open admin.php and you see the login form, you'll be redirected back on the same back after your username and password has been accepted.

The redirect cookie have a life of 30 seconds.
