I have 2 sugestions.

Suggest 1:
Extra options in users_edit such as:
* Screenname (so that username is for login and screenname is for show on screen) with possibility to use characters like []{}<> etc.
* Hide/show email address
* Country
* Birthday (wich also will be shown in calendar)
* Newsletter on/off option

Suggest 2:
Show all user info in userlist v2 (by paolo89)

Users has no newsletter flag (option), if you want to unsubscribe, can be done from index.php?page=newsletter
