Language not supporting | #post5975 | Hi dear mem
I unable to display Tamil Language articles and contents. I have typed my Tamil articles on MS Word then copy and past it in my site but its displaying in english. what I want to do to solve this problem? pls guide me

What do you mean cannot display?
Where have you typed the language? Have you selected id? Is yes, reset the language chosen in the language block www.yoursite.com/index.php?newlang=reset |

I do it but unsuccess. there are no Tamil Language in block. my requierment is I want to change the menus, news headline, news contents and other contents in Tamil language. I mean I want to build a fully Tamil language website using Memht Portal. so pls guide nessasry steps want to do?

Re: Language not supporting | #post6010 | If you want to change page TITLES, rename them in admin > pages (but cannot change links: index.php?page=NEWS for example, it must be NEWS and cannot be translated)
For the rest, everything is in the language file.
Duplicate the file english.php and call it tamil.php, open it and translate everything you want.
Remember just to use ' instead of ' and that's all.
Remember that the language block in the site home will set to you a cookie with the language you want to use, so if you select english, but in configuration is tamil, you'll see english. To solve this, reset your language in the language block in home |
