i'd like to know how can i insert new from sites like eurosport or cnn or whatever into my site's news page, or can it be done at all?

all you need is to get the XML/RSS code that these third party websites provide, get into your admin panel>aggregator and fill in the details.
Now add the url u got from the third party website in the URL field and save.
If you linked in type: article then all feeds will now be available in articles, similar to news, similar to guide.

your link have to end with .xml or .rss otherwise it isn't gonna work!
