if my ip is 189.150.10.133 and you do a whois on it it will show it is owned by my telephone company called Telmex, the range would be 189.xxx.0.0 - say 189.255.0.0 or some other range if you add that range to the table the flag thing will work. My ip doesn't show a Mexican flag too lazy too add my ip range to the DB hope you learned something here deddy

Lo que pasa que si tienes el servicio de telmex no tienes asignado un IP definido ya que en cada sesion que inicias ellos te cambian el IP, lo que tienes que hacer es hablar con servicio al cliente y decirles que necesitas dejar fija la ip de tu computadora.

the situation here is telmex internet dont give you one IP fix for you,and they change in each loggin the IP, please go to the costumer services to change this.

Thanks for sharing my point being if you whois my ip it gives you the range you add that range to the ip2country db that was the point I was giving. The range that gets assigned to the ISP doesnt matter if its dynamic or stable its a range which is givien to the ISP. If you want this in spanish to be more specific I can easily do it.

This can be done for any ip from any country if you add the range which is given to telmex in this case 189.0.0.0 - 189.255.255.255
if you add that to the db the MX flag will appear doesnt matter which IP or if your ip changes it will still show a flag for the range. Understand now?
Sadly Mexico doesn't have decent speeds for home use, but I find Telmex to be better than the local Cable Company here in Merida. My ip doesn't change for 2-4 months at a time.
