I want to have the ability to post news and users can discuss in forums. Is there a way to auto create forum post when you post news? Also to count number of discussion at bottom of news post.

Open admin/pages/news/index.php

Find on row 135

Add after

code

$dblink->query("INSERT INTO memht_forum_posts (id,parent,forum,name,text,author,date,ip,smiles)

                                VALUES (null,'0','FORUMID','$nome','Let' talk about [b]$nome[/b]...','$admin',$tzNOW,'".$visitorInfo['ip']."','1')");

Remember to change FORUMID with the id of the forum where you want the thread to be created
