I think this would be preferable (for me anyway) to adding specific users on by one for each forum. As with this particular site, my moderation team will be the same on most (if not all) forums. Obviously a group could contain lots of Moderators (who would gain that rank in forums they are responsible for). This could work alongside individual user method (as per phpbb).
