Maybe a FLV Player?
#post9294
There is a great free FLV player here which I think would be a great addition to memht.

We have the youtube addon which is great but the I think the flash player would give more options to webmasters. Before I switched to mem I was using a CMS that had this and it was great.

The youtube addon uses youtube embed player so it's not possible to use it there. In the future i want to build a generic video addon so it might be of help. I already use a flv player in docs > install but all sources are welcome, what's the url?

Good idea use FLV but in specific jobs I use too this feature in my site but a little amounts, the only situation here is the weigth added to your hosting, I means if you use this FLV player you host the viedeo and spend space in your host, with the feature created by Mem saving space becasue you can create one account in YouTube upload your videos or use and shera others without spend any bit more than the showing feature in youtube addon.

Think in the future like a sample: One little video hosted by yoo with weight of 2mb plus how much more you can add and consume your memory space.

Is only my point of view.

Imagine that my site (No Open yet because are in develop) have more than 10,000 images, plus animations in flash and videos, if you sum all this is a crasy host billing.

Thats why when Mem and Paulo create and modify this one they save us many many precious space in the host, will be used in data and text.

Regards
Cylon

1 video of 500kb * 1000 pageviews = ~490mb of bandwidth

20 videos = 9,5gb
100 videos = 47,7gb

But normally videos are not 500kb only Smile
