Date: 07/07/2008 03:44 MessageBox | #post9472 | Version of MemHT I'm using is on side
Site: http://www.sabarre.com
Question is below:
I'm trying to understand MessageBox. I read about it on forum, but what I read does not connect to my site.
I look in admin at Install Addons and I see I have MessageBox as an Addon
,I want to display the message box on my main page.
I read on the forum that Mem say to go to Admin - Blocks - MessageBox, but I see no MessageBox in the Blocks.
So I'm confused. MessageBox is under Install Addons, but I do not see it in Blocks. How do I display the MessageBox on the main page for users and guests to use. I already set in Config/Conent that Guest can write in MsgBox to yes but I don't know how to display it on main page.
Thanks
p.s. There is a chance I don't know what a MessageBox is. I'm thinking it is similar to a shout box that members and visitors can type quick messages. Edited: 07/07/2008 04:03 |

To make it enable at your front page, go to admin pannel..
systems > blocks > add
then select file 'messages'.
Block title > Message Box (or anything you want)
Block title > Yes (or No if wanna hide title)
Type > File
Zone > Navigator/Extra/Main (select one..)
Position >
File > messages
...
Required rank > Guest/Member (Who you want to be able to leave message..)
Administrating Message box:
Go to admin panel > install addons > messagebox
There you can clear messages, delete particular message, or track IP of user..
Hope it will help.. |

thanks again
