How to add Banners

The MemHT Portal's advertising system permits to create advertising campaigns, using images, flash animations and js scripts as banners.
How to create an advertising campaign
The Advertising CP is located in Admin CP > System > Banners
As first we need to press on the "Add customer" link and fill all informations on the following screen
When finished, press on the "Add banner" link
At this point we have to fill the banner informations.
Image Banner
Script Banner (Flash, AdSense etc)
The position is the place where the banner has to be shown (there are 5 of them that are defined by default).
The advertising campaign can have two targets/objectives: Impressions or Clicks
Impressions: Number of times the banner has to appears. When this number is reached, the banner is disabled (Used when the target is set to impressions)
Clicks: Number of clicks to reach, after which the banner is disabled (Used when the target is set to clicks)
Banner positions
Default positions: (Should not be modified)
- Header (1)
- Footer (2)
- Left side blocks (3)
- The block called `nav_advertising` must be enabled
- Right side blocks (4)
- The block called `extra_advertising` must be enabled
- Guide page (5)
If you want to add a new position, press on the "Add Banner position" link and write its name.
When finished, showBanner(N); must be placed in the portal engine, in order to show the banner.
Note: N is the number of the added position.
